George Martin had originally taped the film scored at Olympic Sound Studios. However, on October 22 and 23, 1968, personally conducting the 41-piece George Martin Orchestra and sharing production duties with John Burgess and Ron Richards, George Martin re-taped everything in two three-hour sessions in studio one, Abbey Road. Stereo remixing and editing was done on October 24 and 25. The scores were featured on B-side of Yellow Submarine album.
